HADDO ESTATEDCDP was commissioned to provide a state-of-the-art kitchen facility in a brand-new visitor centre, built on the Haddo Estate, in keeping with their ‘green’ credentials.
After much consultation with the client, a design was put together to offer a first-class kitchen facility, utilising environmentally-considered appliances, including induction hob units, where energy consumption was a major consideration, and ware-washing machines where water, chemicals and energy usage helped in maintaining the ecological stance of the site. The design criteria were also ergonomics-based, where food production, storage, delivery and presentation were carefully calculated to deliver the highest quality food, when it was needed, with the minimum of effort. |
